You Decided To Become A Trader | What Are You Looking For?
Don't say you aren't, because you know you are. It's who we are. It's in our DNA.
In fact, it's the primary reason the statistics for "would be" traders, are so brutal. With all the looking, there's no time left to focus on trading. In all honesty, your basic platform has everything you need to make a living. Unfortunately, you've been told those "old school" tools just won't cut it in today's hi-tech high frequency arena. I'm sorry, you've been lied to.
Do we have custom, proprietary tools? Yes we do. Do I believe they do a better job than those that came with your platform? I do. However, that doesn't change the definitive statement I made in the first paragraph. I'm just being honest with you. "Refreshing" you say? Excellent!
So since I can't stop you from looking, maybe I can help you find it. You know.. the thing you're looking for. By the way, what exactly are you looking for? That's not a rhetorical question. I want you to stop reading and think for a moment. Whip out a #2 lead pencil and a legal pad. In 50 words or less, define what you're looking for. When you're done, post it below as a comment, or email it to support@cfrn.net. Your anonymity is guaranteed. I'm not trying to out you, I would like to help you.
If it sounds like I'm trying to sell you something, go back and read paragraph 1.
What I'm really after, is to get you to admit to yourself, these 2 simple facts:
- A) You're looking
- b) You don't know what you're looking for
It's OK. Denial is a killer. Get over that and you're almost sober.
Did you write anything down, on your legal pad?
Let's pretend you did -
#1) I want to make money.
#2) I want to be told when to get in and get out.
#3) I want to make short term trades.
#4) I want to make swing trades.
#5) I want to unravel the mystery, I don't care about the money.
I sketched that wish list in 30 seconds. You can do better. Think about it, unless you actually know what you're looking for, how will you know when you've found it? By waking up with a ton of cash in your trading account? Good luck with that...
All I'm trying to do here is get you stirred up, get you thinking. Once you define what you want, then you can figure out how to get it. Of course you have to measure it first and make sure it's realistic, attainable. If it isn't, that's a torturous journey to be on.
Things That Can Be Found
There are things you can find. I know because we found them. Before we could find them, we had to define them. Follow me?
- A simple method.
- Where to get in.
- When to get out.
- Realistic goals.
- Long term plans.
- Support.
Those are all easy and a mere mouse click away, if... they're on your legal pad.
If they aren't, I'm speaking a foreign language.
I challenge you to put it all on PAUSE, for 24 hours...
