Emini - Bitcoin - Ethereum - Best For Day Trading?

(QQQ)(DIA)(SPY)(GLD)(SLV)

by DeWayne Reeves

We brought our audience Bitcoin at $2.00

Are You a Daytrader? Emini - Bitcoin or Ethereum?

It's true, we first taught the CFRN Radio Audience about Bitcoin when it was trading at a humble $2 per coin. We only wish we had BOUGHT our audience some Bitcoin at $2 per coin. We can only hope each member made the proper decision for themselves, whatever that might have been. (duh)

Of course the biggest financial headlines you'll find today are not whether Crypto Currencies will survive, the question is Which Crypto Will Thrive?

cryp·to·cur·ren·cy
ˈkriptōˌkərənsē/
noun

  1. a digital currency in which encryption techniques are used to regulate the generation of units of currency and verify the transfer of funds, operating independently of a central bank.
"decentralized cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin now provide an outlet for personal wealth that is beyond restriction and confiscation" (source:google.com)

With Bitcoin reaching an all time high today of $3,500, and Ethereum reaching almost $300, it's obvious which one is the easier buy, but which one is the smarter buy? That is the question we are currently mining. Ethereum possesses qualities Bitcoin lacks. Bitcoin however has the attention of the masses, or at least the greater majority.

Over the coming weeks we hope to interview some of the big names in Cryptocurrency such as Chris Kline COO of Bitcoin IRA, Kyle Torpey Professional Bitcoin Writer, Vitalik Buterin of Ethereum.org and Christie Harkin Managing Editor of Bitcoin Magazine.

Cryptocurrency Education

Stay tuned as we bring you up to speed on what appears to be the future of cash.

As far as Daytrading goes, Emini Futures are by far, still the strongest candidate for many reasons. The major one being the available leverage. Intraday, traders are able to trade 1 S&P 500 Emini Contract for $500. The value of that contract is $50 times the current price of the index.

At today's new all time intra-day high, that placed the value of 1 contract at $124,400. Controlling 1/8th of a million dollars in Best of Breed S&P 500 Equity for $500 is not something you'll easily match in any "regulated" financial market.

Cryptocurrency Futures

Of course the S&P 500 Emini Futures Contract exists because the price of the original S&P 500 contract became to expensive for most traders to trade. To increase liquidity the E-mini was created at 1/5th the size and 1/5th the price. It quickly became (and still is) the most liquid and heavily traded financial instrument on Wall Street and Main Street as well.

This of course begs the question, what is the future for Bitcoin Futures, Ethereum Futures and Options for both? How far behind can they be? Could this be the next "big thing"?  Stay tuned...
